As many of you know, I love creating pattern on my surfaces and I also enjoy working small. In this class we are taking our doodling and drawing to the next level by exploring all kinds of tiny techniques and concepts to create pattern in a variety of different ways.

Working small is a simple, fast and creative way to carve out a daily art practice. I've learned that creating small gives me the opportunity to finish a surface, explore an idea or technique and create composition in a short amount of time.

We will be working through 1 lesson a day for 30 days with techniques, prompts and exercises to get you playing around with pattern on small surfaces. We will explore color, repetition, shapes, mark making, abstraction and design. I will be sharing a variety of simple techniques that will take your drawing and doodles to the next level.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This class has new ideas and does not repeat other class content on pattern or doodling!
