The Patchwork Garden - Online Doodling & Folk Art Class

Join me as we create a whimsical patchwork garden one panel at a time! Using a single folded sheet of paper and your favorite supplies, you’ll build your garden through simple doodles, playful prompts, and imaginative details — a truly unique online folk art and doodling experience.

Each day you’ll work on one folded panel with a simple, playful prompt without seeing the big picture until the very end. Think pathways, garden beds, fences, and florals! When you unfold your paper on the final day, all nine panels come together into one colorful, whimsical garden that feels like part folk art, part garden plan, and pure imagination.

No experience needed — just a love of doodling, a little curiosity, and a desire to let your imagination run wild. This creative drawing class for beginners is the perfect way to explore whimsical art and mixed media in a fun, low-pressure way!

All of my online art classes have unlimited access — once the class goes live, you can access it at any time and work completely at your own pace. There is no deadline or pressure to create.
