Creative Voyages: Around the World by Rail & Sea is a year-long illustrated travel class designed for artists who love storytelling, drawing, and creative exploration.
Each month, we will travel to a new place by train or ship- sketching not just what we see, but how it feels to be there. Instead of rushing through landmarks, we slow down and build layered sketchbook pages inspired by routes, tickets, maps, monuments, architecture, and imagination.
Throughout the year, you’ll create a handmade visual passport, collect illustrated tickets and stamps, map your creative route around the world, and fill your sketchbook with expressive drawings, mixed-media layers, and personal reflections.
Creative Voyages is perfect for anyone who loves travel, art journaling, drawing, and mixed media.
This class offers:
- Monthly Lessons: Each month focuses on a specific place bringing that area to life through art.
- A Variety of Techniques: Work with watercolor, ink, and mixed media to create creative journal pages.
- Storytelling in Art: Learn how to incorporate narrative and imagination into your illustrations.

You will receive access to a private website where you can access a new lesson on the 12th of each month.

All of my classes have unlimited access- once the class goes live you can create and access the class at any time and work at your own pace. There is no deadline or pressure to create.

- Lessons will post on the 12th of each month.
- Once you receive your class access invitation, you will need to create a login with your email and you own password.
- Basic computer skills are needed.

- Supplies needed are very simple, inexpensive art/craft items- (I strongly believe creating art should not cost a lot of money!!)
