The Imagination Journal - 30-Day Online Art Journaling & Mixed Media Class

Anyone in need of a creative escape? I believe our imagination is one of the most powerful tools we have to explore creativity, ideas, and possibility — and this class is your invitation to dive in!

In this 30-day online art journaling class, I'll share a variety of prompts, ideas, and exercises to spark your imagination. We'll use drawing, painting, journaling, and collage to connect with our inner creative world and build our own unique visual make-believe. I'll show you how to use an art journal as a place to explore mixed media techniques freely and joyfully, working through one lesson a day for 30 days. My hope is to inspire you to find endless inspiration within your own imagination!

All of my online art classes have unlimited access — once the class goes live, you can access it at any time and work completely at your own pace. There is no deadline or pressure to create. You'll have 30 creative posts to return to whenever inspiration strikes!

Supplies

I don't typically have an official supply list for my classes because I share a variety of concepts that can be applied to many different materials. In this class you'll see me working with the supplies below, but most techniques can be applied to just about anything!

• An art journal — any sketchbook or mixed media art journal will work. I'll be creating in a composition notebook and a mixed media paper journal.
• Loose paper — watercolor paper or bristol paper
• Watercolor paint — any will work
• Acrylic paint — any will work; I recommend matte acrylic when working in an art journal
• Any types of brushes
• Favorite pens and markers

• This class is structured into 30 inspiring posts — one simple idea, prompt, or technique to work through each day for 30 days.
• You have unlimited access to come and go as you please for as long as you like.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• There will be lots of photos, step-by-step visuals, and video lessons filmed in my studio.
• A high-speed internet connection is definitely recommended.
• Supplies needed are very simple, inexpensive art and craft items — I strongly believe creating art should not cost a lot of money!
