From an artistic perspective, growing up on the Oregon Coast made me a seeker of wonders. From the old growth woods, perched above the ocean, to the thundering surf pounding against the rocky shore, to the fog hanging over sandy beaches- the landscape offers up its treasures and dynamic inspiration to the willing soul. “You, Me, and the Sea” is a small retreat designed to share the inspiration of the Oregon Coast and the opportunity to immerse yourself in sketching, painting and mixed media projects based on the natural wonders of the sea. Together we will spend 3 days in a whirlwind of creativity- drawing, painting and projects inspired by the ocean and its offerings. We will absorb the colors, materials, and treasures of the landscape and turn them into unique artwork.
Please note: In addition to creating in Alisa's studio, we will spend time beach combing, walking and creating outside weather permiting.
Cost of class includes supplies, gifts and surprises from Alisa, lunch and snacks all three days.

I've been teaching art since 2004 and while I have a formal education in Fine Art, I love to break the rules! As a teacher, it's my mission to share simple techniques that artists of any level can use to create bold and colorful art. I also like to cram as much creativity as I possibly can into my classes! My goal is to inspire my students and provide new ideas, techniques, live demonstrations, one on one support and the space to make creative discoveries. One of my favorite parts of teaching live, is the having the time to connect with my students, get to know other creatives and answer questions about art, life and business.
$600.00 early bird special. Includes supplies, gifts and surprises from Alisa, lunch and snacks all three days.
Please note- we have limited space available for this retreat, if all spots are filled we will open up a waiting list.
In addition to your confirmation email you will also receive a welcome packet with additional event details (schedule/activities, parking, recommended eating, attractions, etc) and a release form that will need to be returned by start of class.
